There are so many obstacles in our lives that we sometimes forget to set a goal. I am just over 40 years now and unfortunately started waay too late becoming a property investor. One can say that I am 20 years behind on what anyone can actually achieve in their 20’s already. Why I have chosen property is quite simple. If you live in a house that is fully paid for, no one can take it away from you (unless you do some illegal shit). If you look at currencies, precious metals or stocks, they can drop in value tomorrow wiping out your net worth in an instant. A handful of people can make or break an organisation wiping out shares you bought for lots of money. If the housing market would crash tomorrow you will still have the same house, nothing changes except the value. Everything will recover and the housing market pretty much has over the past years.
Just note that I am not a financial advisor I’m merely sharing my thoughts here.
So my mission in life is to build a property portfolio where I can live in a paid house in 2 or 3 different countries and all other income I get from the other homes pay for my lifestyle through the rentals. According to my list of goals and how I structured my portfolio the probability of achieving financial freedom is quite certain.
What are you doing to achieve financial freedom? If you have no Plan do get a pen and paper and start jogging down these goals and just make the work. If you improve on a task 1% a day, how will your outcome be after 100days?
